Behind the pixels

A little code.
A lot of curiosity.

I’m (Ev)Angelos Asimakopoulos. An independent developer, a lifelong player, and an enthusiastic collector of small ideas.

Hello from the workbench.

I make small games for the browser and write about what I learn. I like a project you can understand in a sentence, a game you can share with a link, and an afternoon spent making one little interaction feel just right.

The name 5–9.dev is a nod to the hours after the day’s work, when the interesting side projects tend to happen. It is less a schedule and more a state of mind: a little space to explore.

What I care about

Fast websites, approachable tools, and games that respect your time. I keep the technology modest so I can spend more time on the thing itself.

This site is both a portfolio and an open notebook. You will find sketches beside finished thoughts, and development notes beside the games they inform.

A note about this template

Alex Rowan, the location, and the game concepts are fictional placeholders. Replace them with your own story, projects, and profile links before you publish.
