Cookies in this starter

The application does not set cookies. There are no advertising scripts, analytics scripts, login sessions, or embedded social widgets in milestone 1. Hosting or security settings you enable separately may change this; document [actual hosting cookies and their purposes].

Your theme preference

If you explicitly choose light or dark mode, the site stores five-nine-theme in your browser’s localStorage. It contains only light or dark and is not sent to our server. It has no automatic expiry; it lasts until you clear website data or return to the System theme.

With System selected, the site follows your device preference and removes its saved theme value. If localStorage is unavailable, theme selection still works on the current page.

The theme button in the header cycles through System, Light, and Dark. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

Why there is no consent banner

This milestone has no consent-dependent integration. A banner should reflect the actual services and legal requirements. The operator must verify the appropriate basis for functional preference storage and any hosting technologies in the jurisdictions served.

Before adding analytics or ads

Review the legal requirements for your particular deployment. If consent is required, obtain it before loading those services. Future advertising may require an appropriate consent-management provider. No such provider or advertising script is part of this version.
